Job Description

The QA/QC Inspector performs internal audits to ensure compliance with Company Quality Management System. Ensures audit findings are correct and recommendations for corrective and/or preventive action(s) are appropriate. Performs technical and visual inspections towards the reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of all assets. Develops and monitors Quality Control, Safety and Environmental Programs in support of subject area. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure internal audits are conducted of actual practices against published policies, standards, procedures, regulatory guidance, contract and processes.
  • Ensure corrective action and preventive action submitted by site meet QMS requirements.
  • Prepare trend analysis reports of various quality indicators as required by Company Quality Management System.
  • Ensures cross-tell is being conducted between shops and sites for non-conformances.
  • Coordinates with other departments and PSO for standardization of processes and procedures.
  • Inspects all repairs, replacement of parts and assemblies, realignments and adjustments.
  • Ensures the completion of maintenance forms such as work orders, parts request sheets and maintenance sheets and trains others in the proper documentation procedures.
  • Records data such as hours worked, work performed, parts used and ensures complete and correct completion of work orders.
  • Ensures safety practices and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Checks all repairs to ensure the highest quality repair standards are met.
  • Checks to make sure that only current up-to-date Technical Orders and commercial manuals are used when repairing items.
  • Performs random In-Process and Final Product inspections on all Production, Inspection and Maintenance operations.
  • Randomly reviews production and inspection schedules, work orders and historical records to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Performs random inspections on tools, shop equipment, safety equipment and protective clothing.
  • Reviews and evaluate work processes and facilities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Ensure internal audits are conducted of actual practices against published policies, standards, procedures, regulatory guidance, contract and processes.
  • Ensure audit findings are correct and that recommendations for corrective and/or preventive action(s) are appropriate and conform to Amentum quality standards.
  • Ensure cross-tell is being conducted between shops and sites for non-conformances.
  • Monitors workshop practices and housekeeping to identify discrepancies and negative trends that affect technical performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have outstanding customer service and organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an advanced level.
  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Teams, Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
  • Should be capable of producing Analysis Reports and Spreadsheets.
  • Must be familiar with OSHA/AFOSH Standards and Industrial safety practices.
  • Must be conversant with USAF Technical Order and publications system.
  • Ability to interpret and implement procedures for compliance with ISO 9001 Standards is essential.
  • Must successfully pass Internal Auditor course (QA auditors).
  • Conversant with USAF Technical Order and publications system is required.
  • Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of related maintenance actions required.
  • Two years' experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control is required.
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 20 lbs.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of Training and Instructional Techniques is desirable.

  • Troubleshoot minor equipment failures and inconsistent analytical results in coordination with QC engineers and QC technicians.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all testing standards

  • Management/Team leader/Direct Line report can assign you any related task as deemed fit in process operation area in order to enhance the operating skills and reserves the right to transfer you other departments when needed to develop multitasking.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering. (Diploma holders may also be considered).

  • Good understanding of Aluminium processing operation and technology.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Familiarity with contact center platforms, QA software, LMS, and analytics tools

Sector of Previous Experience Telecommunications, etc.

Language Requirements for Role:
