Role Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will oversee all the maintenance activities across the company’s facilities in Muscat. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and civil assets. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a strong understanding of industrial maintenance within the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of maintenance strategies across all operational sites.
• Manage daily maintenance operations including preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Supervise a team of maintenance supervisors and technical staff across electrical, mechanical, and fabrication disciplines.
• Collaborate with asset owners and cross-functional departments to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
• Oversee maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost control to support operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all maintenance activities.
• Optimize spare parts usage and standardization, and manage maintenance backlogs in line with global best practices.
• Lead contractor and vendor management, including technical evaluations and performance oversight.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, performance metrics, and condition monitoring systems.
• Support national objectives by mentoring and developing Omani talent within the maintenance function.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 10 years in food manufacturing space and 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing complex maintenance contracts and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, equipment lifecycle management, and rotating/static equipment.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance execution and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with HSE, risk management, and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with fluency in technical and financial terminology.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

• Manage and control room inventory to ensure optimal availability and accurate room assignments.

• Support the Front Desk team with room change requests, overbooking situations, and guest relocation plans.
• Provide detailed shift handovers and maintain clear communication with all operational departments.
• Anticipate potential conflicts in room assignment and resolve issues proactively.
• Track and analyze room assignment trends to support upselling and guest satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintain full knowledge of hotel room types, features, and current status at all times.
• Work closely with the Reservations and Sales departments to manage group blocks, rooming lists, and inventory changes.
• Ensure accuracy of data in the Property Management System (PMS), including room statuses and guest profiles.
• Assist with training new front office staff on room assignment protocols and systems.

We are currently hiring for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. You will also be required to troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure proper functioning of all equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Calibrate instruments as needed
