We are a leading manufacturer in the Quartz / Artificial Stone / Engineered Stone industry, operating high-performance plants equipped with advanced machinery such as HR Meze and KEDA . As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking to hire a skilled and proactive Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment and minimal production downtime.

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across the plant. This includes preventive and reactive maintenance of key equipment, ranging from grinders, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems , to quartz ovens, press machines, polishing units , and EOT cranes . You will play a vital role in supporting production efficiency and safety through effective engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of both mechanical and electrical machinery within the plant.
• Handle repair and overhauling of mechanical components including gearboxes , pumps , hydraulic/pneumatic systems , and press/polishing machines .
• Execute electrical maintenance tasks including fault diagnosis, circuit inspection, and replacement of faulty components in quartz plant equipment.
• Conduct arc welding , gas cutting , and fabrication tasks as needed for machine repairs or structural adjustments.
• Ensure proper lubrication and greasing of machines on scheduled intervals to avoid wear and tear.
• Maintain and repair EOT cranes , drilling machines , bench rollers , and other utility machines within the factory premises.
• Monitor performance and health of key machinery including Quartz Oven , Press Machine , and Polishing Machine .
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, assess root cause, and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and service schedules.
• Follow all safety protocols , ensure lock-out/tag-out procedures are adhered to during electrical repairs and high-risk maintenance work.
• Coordinate with production and plant management teams to prioritize tasks based on urgency and production requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering .
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment, preferably in Quartz / Artificial Stone / Engineered Stone industries.
• Proficiency in handling tools and machinery such as hand grinders , gearboxes , hydraulic and pneumatic systems , pumps , quartz ovens , and press/polishing machines .
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis .
• Experience with arc welding , gas cutting , and machine greasing.
• Ability to interpret machine manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance guidelines.
• Sound knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices.

We are seeking a Sales Engineer who is a Graduate Electrical Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in the sales and marketing of MV and HV Electrical Switchgear Panel Boards, Cables, Wires, Switches, and other Electrical products.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. At least 2-3 years of GCC experience.
2. GCC Driving License is a must.

The monthly salary shall be in the range of RO 600 to 1200, plus all other annual benefits, including an attractive performance-based incentive (which can be as high as 10 months of basic salary). This position is based in our Head Office and offers family status.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Energy Engineering

Job Summary: This is a predominantly teaching focused position to manage and support delivery of postgraduate, undergraduate, foundation and executive programmes. The post-holder will have primary responsibility for teaching undergraduate energy engineering (experience in teaching process design is an extra credit) and postgraduate renewable energy engineering modules, laboratory development and supervision, and supporting relevant programmes in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (e.g., chemical engineering) and, if required, contribution to relevant teaching in foundation programmes as well as on executive education courses. Preference will be given to candidates with administrative experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality teaching experience in foundation, undergraduate (BSc and BEng), laboratory, pre-masters, postgraduate (MSc) programmes and in executive programmes.
• Ensure all necessary content and material is in place for the degree programmes in time.
• Construct and plan student assignments, module delivery and assessment, ensuring coherence and relevance.
• Liaise with the faculty Director on all student matters & timetable planning and manage module timetables, content & resource areas, liaising with academic & technical staff as appropriate.
• Initiate high-quality learning and teaching/training activities that reflect the needs and contemporary currency of the subject and to foster a group dynamic and peer learning.
• Engage with students and demonstrators during laboratory sessions to ensure a high level of understanding is achieved by the students.
• Ensure all learning experiences comply with the expectations of all related standards of the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA).
• Monitor the student voice through meetings, surveys and reviews and liaise with the Faculty Director in relation to findings, initiating solutions to any student dissatisfaction or other issues.
• Formulate and coordinate the Final Year Projects and Theses to ensure a consistent and rigorous process, including liaising with industry where necessary.
• Attend Open Days, external events and interviews as required by the Faculty Director to support recruitment activities.
• Maintain flexible working patterns which include some evening and weekend work in support of Programme/Faculty/University business.
• Actively engage with businesses/professional bodies/schools and colleges/communities/enterprises, etc., organize student outreach and invite industry speakers to enhance the student experience and facilitate industrial placement of students, as appropriate.
• Organize, prepare and participate in university meetings and events including Boards of Examiners, Programme Reviews, Planning and Monitoring committees, Student/Staff Liaison, and faculty and university committees and policy developments.
• Work with the Faculty Director and other University representatives to ensure student attainment, success and progression by monitoring student attendance and performance, and obtaining student feedback.
