Looking for an experienced Grid station Civil Engineer with over 15-20 years dedicated to the successful delivery of electrical substation projects. A grid station Civil Engineer reviews the design, specifies, and oversees the construction of civil infrastructure for substations, including site preparation, foundations, buildings, roads, and drainage systems, while ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating with other departments. Grid station Civil Engineer position is site based and as per specific project requirement.

• Review the substations building designs, foundations, and associated structures. Develop detailed plans for site clearance, backfilling, compaction, grading, and surfacing. Design internal roads, access roads, cable trenches, drainage systems, and boundary walls.
• Incorporate considerations for equipment dimensions, ventilation, fire safety, and earthing into the designs.

Wood is recruiting for a Construction Superintendent to join its Projects team, delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables, supervising all areas on small projects and/or a subset discipline on larger projects. 1. Manage the Civil Engineering portfolio of the 400kV/132kV Substation project including the Technical, HSE and Financial performance of the projects.
2. The work will involve the site supervision/management of complex technical works of the Client (OETC), alongside the management of customer interfaces.
3. Monitor that construction strictly follows approved design, reporting and clearance of non-conformance.
4. Planning, organizing, and supervision of engineering and construction inspection activities.
5. Do closeout and verification of installed quantities.
