+ Retrieves inbound equipment from the loading/unloading freight or holding area.
+ Evaluates the overall condition of Fuels assets and other related components and equipment.
+ Performs visual inspections and functional checks.
+ Cleans and inspects major and minor components when removed from Fuels assets.
+ Troubleshoots deficiencies and takes the necessary corrective maintenance repair action.
+ Rebuilds engines, fuel nozzles and fuel/air valves. Removes and replaces hoses and air lines.
+ Performs reconstitution, replacing all missing or defective components that do not meet technical order specification.
+ Performs mechanical, electrical and fuel servicing system repairs.
+ Performs hydrostatic tests of fuel dispensing hoses.

As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking to hire a skilled and proactive Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment and minimal production downtime.
Role Overview:
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across the plant. This includes preventive and reactive maintenance of key equipment, ranging from grinders, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems , to quartz ovens, press machines, polishing units , and EOT cranes . You will play a vital role in supporting production efficiency and safety through effective engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of both mechanical and electrical machinery within the plant.
- Handle repair and overhauling of mechanical components including gearboxes , pumps , hydraulic/pneumatic systems , and press/polishing machines .
- Execute electrical maintenance tasks including fault diagnosis, circuit inspection, and replacement of faulty components in quartz plant equipment.
- Conduct arc welding , gas cutting , and fabrication tasks as needed for machine repairs or structural adjustments.
- Ensure proper lubrication and greasing of machines on scheduled intervals to avoid wear and tear.
- Maintain and repair EOT cranes , drilling machines , bench rollers , and other utility machines within the factory premises.
- Monitor performance and health of key machinery including Quartz Oven , Press Machine , and Polishing Machine .
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, assess root cause, and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and service schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols , ensure lock-out/tag-out procedures are adhered to during electrical repairs and high-risk maintenance work.
- Coordinate with production and plant management teams to prioritize tasks based on urgency and production requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering .
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment, preferably in Quartz / Artificial Stone / Engineered Stone industries.

Job Title: Mechanic Supervisor
Reporting To: Field Superintendent

JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanic Supervisor's responsibility is to ensure electrical plant and equipment at all rig sites, Base and Camp are being operated and maintained to an acceptable OEM, industry/regulatory standard.
INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Field Superintendents, Rig Managers and Electrician Supervisor.
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Oxy Drill Site Managers (when applicable)
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review preventative maintenance reporting to ensure scheduled completion and make recommendations on findings when required.
- Assist with the preparation of new PMS packages when required.
- Provide instruction, coaching and supervision to rig site and base electricians.
- Appraise rig site and base electricians by means of Ensign's procedures and documented appraisal forms.
- Report on rig and base site plant and equipment suitability and condition.
- Ensure rig and base site plant and equipment is being maintained and operated within the OEM's acceptable parameters and meets industry/regulatory standards.
- Provide recommendations to enhance operational performance by means of plant and equipment selection, operating parameters or maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical input where plant and equipment is being repaired, re-furbished or replaced.
- Establish correctly isolating procedures for the safe maintenance of plant and equipment and ensuring that all relevant personnel are aware of these practices and procedures.
- Report directly to the Field Superintendent on all aspects of mechanical related issues and maintains a visible commitment towards safety.
- Participate in the PEM Group meetings when available.
- Undertake other assignments as directed by the Field Superintendent.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- The Mechanic Supervisor shall be certified or trade qualified to perform mechanical repairs and installations. He is specifically authorized by the company to STOP any unsafe activity at his place of work regardless of who is involved in such activity.

- Participates in Ensign BBS Card System and safety meeting as required.

The employee will not be asked to perform duties that their supervisor believes they are not qualified for, or duties that may compromise the safety of the employee, their team, or any other persons involved with the operation.
