Job Description- Organize all QC inspections on and off site.
- Implement the project quality plan and specifications.
- Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or material requirements, and review blueprints or other documents to define operational methods or sequences.
- Follow up on site inspections, QC records, and non-conformities.
- Analyze test results.
- Evaluate the quality of materials or products.
- Monitor identification and traceability activities and records.
- Follow up on corrective actions in case of non-conformity, while coordinating with the Technical Manager, Construction Manager, General Site Superintendent, QC Manager, and Lab Technician.
- Certificate or Diploma in the appropriate Engineering discipline
- 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Materials Testing, preferably with regional experience in marine works
- Good English communication skills
- Proactive and flexible
- Strong Quality Control analysis skills
- Good listening skills
- Effective time management
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Well-versed with reasonable writing skills

Conduct daily inspections of construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Monitor contractor's work for quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to timelines.
Report any non-conformances or deviations from specifications and assist in the preparation of non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Keep accurate records of site activities, inspection results, and progress updates.
Assist in reviewing method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Coordinate with the contractor's site team and WSP engineers to address issues and resolve site-related challenges.
Attend site meetings and inspections with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
Support the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer in all inspection-related matters.

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably on large infrastructure or port projects.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field inspection tools.
+ Experience working in Oman or the GCC is an advantage.
