About The Job

The Bar Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, supervising the service in the bar venue. To provide back up for the Assistant Restaurant Manager, take responsibility for supervising and coordinating the daily bar activities and maintaining the highest standard of service established by the hotel.

JOB SUMMARY

The Mechanic Supervisor’s responsibility is to ensure electrical plant and equipment at all rig sites, Base and Camp are being operated and maintained to an acceptable OEM, industry/regulatory standard.

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Field Superintendents, Rig Managers and Electrician Supervisor.

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Oxy Drill Site Managers (when applicable)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Review preventative maintenance reporting to ensure scheduled completion and make recommendations on findings when required.
  • Assist with the preparation of new PMS packages when required.
  • Provide instruction, coaching and supervision to rig site and base electricians.
  • Appraise rig site and base electricians by means of Ensign’s procedures and documented appraisal forms.
  • Report on rig and base site plant and equipment suitability and condition.
  • Ensure rig and base site plant and equipment is being maintained and operated within the OEM’s acceptable parameters and meets industry/regulatory standards.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance operational performance by means of plant and equipment selection, operating parameters or maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical input where plant and equipment is being repaired, re-furbished or replaced.
  • Establish correctly isolating procedures for the safe maintenance of plant and equipment and ensuring that all relevant personnel are aware of these practices and procedures.
  • Report directly to the Field Superintendent on all aspects of mechanical related issues and maintains a visible commitment towards safety.
  • Participate in the PEM Group meetings when available.
  • Undertake other assignments as directed by the Field Superintendent.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • The Mechanic Supervisor shall be certified or trade qualified to perform mechanical repairs and installations. He is specifically authorized by the company to STOP any unsafe activity at his place of work regardless of who is involved in such activity.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

  • Works in a manner that insures personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.
  • Participates in Ensign BBS Card System and safety meeting as required.
  • Maintains a professional, effective, and polite relationship with other Ensign employees and suppliers.

The employee may be directed to perform other duties outside those already described in this position description and which includes carrying out rig housekeeping tasks at the well site/Ensign Base, or, when the rig is undergoing maintenance, as directed by the Rig Manager.

The employee will not be asked to perform duties that their supervisor believes they are not qualified for or duties that may compromise the safety of the employee, their team or any other persons involved with the operation.

Job Description

Job Purpose: To supervise and manage the overall security operations across all Al Hashar Automotive locations in Oman, including showrooms, service centers, parts warehouses, vehicle yards and any other company premises. The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance of security guards, implementing security protocols, conducting regular audits, and ensuring the safety and protection of employees, customers, assets, and infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Security Personnel: Lead and monitor the daily operations of the security team across all branches. Ensure proper deployment, grooming, attendance, and performance of guards.
- Security Protocol Implementation: Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for entry/exit control, visitor management, vehicle movement, surveillance, and emergency handling.
- Asset & Premise Protection: Ensure all company assets, vehicles, and premises are secured at all times. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems for any breach or irregularity.
- Incident Management & Reporting: Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms. Conduct preliminary investigations and submit detailed reports with recommendations.
- Access Control & Monitoring: Oversee gate controls, staff ID checks, visitor logs, and movement registers. Maintain discipline and prevent unauthorized access.
- Liaison & Emergency Response: Coordinate with local police, civil defense, and emergency responders when needed. Support HSE and facility teams during drills or crises.

Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Security Management or any related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in managing security teams in multi-location operations.
- Previous military/police/security background preferred.
- Valid Oman/GCC Driving License.

Key Competencies:
- Team leadership with strong command and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of security surveillance and communication systems.
- Experience in handling internal and external security threats.
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills in Arabic & English
- Willingness to travel and monitor various sites across Oman regularly.
