Job Description
Conduct daily inspections of construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Monitor contractor's work for quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to timelines.
Report any non-conformances or deviations from specifications and assist in the preparation of non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Keep accurate records of site activities, inspection results, and progress updates.
Assist in reviewing method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Coordinate with the contractor's site team and WSP engineers to address issues and resolve site-related challenges.
Attend site meetings and inspections with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
Support the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer in all inspection-related matters.
+ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably on large infrastructure or port projects.
+ Strong knowledge of construction practices, standards, and quality control procedures.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
+ Good communication and reporting skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field inspection tools.
+ Experience working in Oman or the GCC is an advantage.
+ Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications:
