Legal Advisor will handle the legal areas of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Consultation:
• Provide legal advice and support to the real estate team on various matters including property transactions, leasing agreements, zoning laws, and land use regulations.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting real estate operations.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and achieve business objectives. - Contract Drafting and Review:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and deeds.
• Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
• Identify and address any legal risks or potential liabilities in contracts and agreements. - Due Diligence:
• Conduct due diligence investigations on properties, including title searches, property surveys, environmental assessments, and zoning verification.
• Assess the legal implications of property titles, easements, encumbrances, and other relevant factors.
• Provide recommendations based on due diligence findings to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with regulations. - Regulatory Compliance:
• Monitor regulatory changes and updates related to real estate laws, zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Develop compliance strategies and policies to ensure that real estate activities comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Train real estate staff on compliance procedures and best practices. - Dispute Resolution:
• Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and litigation related to real estate matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, property damage claims, and contract breaches.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to represent the company's interests in legal proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to resolve conflicts efficiently and cost-effectively. - Risk Management:
• Identify and assess legal risks associated with real estate transactions and operations.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement controls to minimize exposure to legal liabilities.
• Advise senior management on legal matters affecting business decisions and strategic initiatives.

The job holder is responsible to provide comprehensive legal support to Company operations, including legal opinions on transactions, coordination with domestic and international law firms, contract review, proactive legal assistance on various issues, collaboration on projects, effective document drafting, advisory on contentious matters, and representation in negotiations and disputes to safeguard Company interests and ensure compliance
Job Responsibilities:

- Work with management and the Compliance department on specific projects, such as policies and procedures.
- Advising on liability and risk issues in various legal agreements and supporting corporate governance matters.
- Assisting with regulatory filings and other legal documentation.
- Coordinating with external lawyers on legal matters.
- Advising on appropriate courses of action for contentious matters.
- Representing the company in negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
- Researching and analyzing the implications of legislation and regulatory matters.
- Reporting legal developments to the Legal Counsel.
- Provide general legal support to other departments as needed.
Qualification:
- Minimum LLB from an accredited Educational institution. LLM will be an advantage.
Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in the relevant Field.
Key Skills:
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate legal practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to provide strategic legal recommendations to the top Management.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Practical experience in legal support of Investment Management business as well as general corporate activities.
