Job Description
To support all activities related to the Oman Telecommunication Company’s salary administration program and other duties assigned.
Key Accountabilities:- Adjust employee salaries due to internal influences (promotion, merit, general increase, annual increment, lump-sum increase) and external influences.
- Assist in developing job descriptions for all staff positions within the company.
- Support in collecting all information required for the salary survey provided by external consultants.
- Communicate and collect monthly employee data from HRMS and line managers as required.
- Review current compensation for new incumbents and compare with company salary rates to determine offers.
- Set and recommend appropriate salary and grade for new hires, aligning with current salary structure.
- Review and evaluate the current compensation range for all company positions.
- Handle compensation inquiries to ensure quality customer service to employees.
- Analyze employee data using statistical methods such as Excel Pivot tables, regression, and path analysis.
- Prepare monthly reports on new hires and salary adjustments.
- Good knowledge of Human Resource principles and tools.
- Good knowledge of statistics.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Good understanding of the telecommunications industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or a related field, with a preference for minors in HR studies.
Experience:Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience.
