OverviewConsulting segment serves the oil & gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of project development through abandonment. The professional that Baker Hughes seeks for will be responsible for evaluating Oil and Gas projects as a Petroleum/Production engineer and making evaluations of the development feasibility of the project. As a consultant, they will handle special projects, as assigned.
Responsibilities- Providing segment related analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best-In-Class solutions for the client.
- Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
- Providing routine client follow-up and product delivery. Reviews and provides technical input to client proposals.
- Project managing, peer reviews and participation in complex integrated projects. Writes and presents industry papers and publications and chairs technical sessions at industry events.
- Recognized as a global contact to the customer for a product/service or set of products/services. Guides & manages strategic solutions to address evolving markets & positively impact customer profitability.
- Acting as the global focal point for development, implementation, or optimization of a deliverable, service, technology, workflow or process.
- Leading customer-focused technical events & symposiums.
- Leading authoring training content and/or facilitating formal internal training courses.
- Master's or PhD degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 15 additional years of experience in reservoir engineering
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of discipline topics and ability to speak with clients about discipline applications
- Demonstrates proficiency in discipline related software
- Working experience in multiple petroleum basins/provinces worldwide and understand their geological settings and reservoir complexities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
