Our client is a leading conglomerate in the FMCG and manufacturing sector, committed to operational excellence and regulatory compliance across Oman. We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance and Quality Control Executive to uphold and strengthen their quality assurance and control systems.
The Role:
As the QA & QC Executive, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the company’s food safety and quality management systems. You will ensure that all products meet internal and regulatory standards, while working cross-functionally with production and operations to promote a culture of quality across the organization.
- Supervise and coordinate all QA & QC activities across production lines to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other regulatory systems across the plant.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Develop and enforce SOPs, corrective action plans, and preventive measures for non-conformities.
- Lead training programs for staff on hygiene, food safety, and quality protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation and records to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with government authorities and external auditors during inspections and certifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC, preferably in processing or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of food safety systems including HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and GMP.
- Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective action plans.
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally with production and operations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with solid documentation and reporting abilities.

- Ensure that all products are correctly identified, labelled and packaged according to EU and/or USDA standards.
- Be responsible for traceability and the management and maintenance of all records relating to this.
- Reporting the performance of Quality functions/data.
- With assistance from the relevant managers, ensure maintenance schedules are well designed, adhered to and documented, ensure specialist equipment is calibrated correctly.
- Assist the relevant managers to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to Company Health & Safety Policy. Assist with the relevant record keeping.

Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience with Python
- Experience with Cloud sourcing platform is a plus
- Code review experience is a must
- Experience with AI projects is a plus
- Your level of English is advanced (C1) or above
- You are ready to learn new methods, able to switch between tasks and topics quickly and sometimes work with challenging, complex guidelines

Job Description- Organize all QC inspections on and off site.
- Implement the project quality plan and specifications.
- Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or material requirements, and review blueprints or other documents to define operational methods or sequences.
- Follow up on site inspections, QC records, and non-conformities.
- Analyze test results.
- Evaluate the quality of materials or products.
- Monitor identification and traceability activities and records.
- Follow up on corrective actions in case of non-conformity, while coordinating with the Technical Manager, Construction Manager, General Site Superintendent, QC Manager, and Lab Technician.
- Certificate or Diploma in the appropriate Engineering discipline
- 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Materials Testing, preferably with regional experience in marine works
- Good English communication skills
- Proactive and flexible
- Strong Quality Control analysis skills
- Good listening skills
- Effective time management
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Well-versed with reasonable writing skills
