Position Objective: To ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction in instrumentation products and processes through the implementation of effective quality assurance and control measures.
The Quality Engineer - Instrumentation will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and resolving quality issues, and promoting a culture of quality excellence.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, or related field required. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Instrumentation Professional) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in quality inspections, data analysis, and documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and systems for instrumentation products and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Perform inspections, tests, and evaluations of instrumentation components, subassemblies, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications, performance standards, and customer requirements.
- Investigate non-conformances, defects, and quality issues using root cause analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality components and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, test results, inspection findings, and corrective actions. Prepare quality reports, documentation, and metrics for management review.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Production Quality Standards (Pipes):
- Organize and supervise subordinates to ensure efficient and compliant QC activities.

- Initiate corrective actions to ensure compliance and minimize losses.
Inventory:
- Monitor monthly store inventory checks for major raw materials.
- Prepare and submit monthly stock reports to relevant managers.
Employee Effectiveness
- Promote employee engagement and team effectiveness.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Set objectives and targets for subordinates annually.
HSE:
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Use PPE and safety gear as required.
- Maintain clean and organized operational areas.
- Report unsafe acts, incidents, or violations.
- Develop a safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
