PDO Company is seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Production Technologist with proven expertise in advanced hydraulic fracturing operations for tight gas and HPHT reservoirs. This role is pivotal in designing and executing complex stimulation programs to unlock challenging reserves in both vertical and horizontal wells.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in fracturing very tight sandstone formations with shale content and have a strong command of multi-stage fracturing (MSF) design and execution for extended reach horizontal wells. Experience in acid matrix stimulation is highly desirable, particularly for enhancing near-wellbore productivity where applicable. Expertise in fracture propagation control, near-wellbore modeling, frac fluid selection, and integration of geo-mechanical data is essential to optimize treatment placement and maximize reservoir contact.
The role also requires leadership in frac operations risk management, HSE assurance, and contractor/vendor performance control. Developing young engineers is a core accountability; the candidate will actively coach and transfer knowledge in hydraulic fracturing design, operational planning, execution oversight, and post-job analysis.
This position works closely with operations, well engineering, well services, and key vendors to deliver safe, efficient, and value-driven stimulation campaigns across exploration, frontier, and brownfield assets. You will also actively contribute to PDO’s technical focus groups to share learnings and advance best practices.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
