What you will need to do:

• Overall management of procurement activities & resources for all different disciplines (Procurement, Subcontract, Expediting and Logistics).
• Ensure a close, continuous and efficient interface with Engineering, Project Control, Construction, Quality and Stores dept
• Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
• Strategies and lead commercial and contractual negotiations developed for Project.
• Monitor and maintain a full compliance with the Company Procurement Procedures.
• Maintain proper management of Vendors Assessment and Supplier Performance Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized and reputed University.
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management & Logistics.
• 15 years' experience in the Procurement field including minimum 3-5 years as Procurement Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and any other related software
• Professional working proficiency (written and oral) of English language and Arabic added advantage.

• Previous experience in large EPC Construction projects (Marine or Civil Infrastructure) including significant Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works.
• Previous experience in Middle East and proven knowledge of the Oman supplier market Preferred.

• Very good communication and interface with Project Team
• Capability to work for international large company and interface with different key stakeholders.
• Flexibility and sense of ownership is required for this critical project position

Expeditor (Supply Chain)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Liaise with suppliers for the confirmation and acknowledgment of purchase orders.
• Actively monitor supplier deliveries & confirm shipments as promised.
• Generate & issue status reports related to project material requirements.
• Coordinate & monitor all supplier submittals such as fabrication drawings, procedures, test reports, etc. as required in the Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate incoming & outgoing logistics requirements with Logistics & Customs personnel related to cargo activities.
• Monitor supplier performance & provide input for statistical measurement of supplier performance.
• Assist in managing contract and procurement archiving of all supply chain documentation.
• Assist in Procurement and expediting activities in Supply Chain.
• Assist SCM management in executing any assigned tasks by the supervisor.
• Assist the supply chain team in carrying out issues of RFQs, technical clarifications, etc. and any assigned tasks by the SCM team.

• Expedite the approvals of the required drawings and technical documentation.

• 10 hours per day including a 1-hour lunch break, 6 days per week (Saturday to Thursday)
