Our Oil & Gas EPCclient is seeking Project Managers with 18+ yearsoverall experience in Project Management oflarge-scale EPC plant construction projects, including refineries,oil storage terminals, tank farms, etc., along with water treatment systems expertise, pressure vessel fabrication & erection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in greenfield and brownfield projects with anyleading EPC's. Must have executed projects above 250 million USD, assuming responsibility of delivery in the capacity of Project Manager.

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of EPC construction projects involving tank farms, oil terminals, water treatment plants, and pressure vessels.
• Ensuring compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Review technical documents, including P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and construction methodologies.
• Monitor site activities, quality control, and HSE compliance.
• Assist in risk assessment, progress reporting, and resolving on-site technical issues.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and client representatives under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (API, ASME, ANSI) and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering mandatory.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in EPC construction projects within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment sectors.
• Software knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD, project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project), construction methodologies, and industry standards (API, ASME, ANSI).
• Familiarity with Gulf-based projects and clients (PDO, ADNOC, ARAMCO, etc.) is preferred.
• Exposure to brownfield and greenfield project execution.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD/3D modeling (advantageous).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preparation, submission, and negotiation of tenders, bids, and proposals for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• •Review tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial requirements to ensure full compliance and competitiveness.
• • Develop pricing strategies, cost estimates, and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering, procurement, finance, and project teams.
• • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors during the tendering and bidding process to clarify requirements and secure competitive offers.
• • Analyze project risks, contractual terms, and commercial conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and risk management procedures.
• • Oversee the preparation of technical and financial submissions, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
• • Track upcoming tenders and opportunities, maintain client databases, and build strong business relationships to enhance bidding success rates.
• • Provide strategic input to management on market trends, competitor analysis, and business development opportunities.
• • Ensure documentation, records, and correspondence related to tendering and bidding are properly maintained and updated.
• • Lead and mentor the tendering team, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.

Qualification & Experience:

• • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline (Masters preferred).
• • Minimum 15 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or contracts management within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• • Proven track record in preparing and winning bids for large-scale EPC projects in Oil & Gas.
• • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, contracts (FIDIC, EPC, LSTK), and commercial terms in the Middle East.
• • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• • Proficiency in MS Office, tendering software, and cost estimation tools.
• • Fluent in English (written & spoken); Arabic proficiency will be an added advantage.

Key Accountabilities :

• Adoption of all HSE requirements within the project;
• Ensuring that OOCEP HSSE Standards & Procedure are adopted throughout the project and that all activities are fully documented in the project HSSE Management Plans;
• Oversight of all practices, and operations for the Health, Safety, Security & Environmental functions within the project covering the engineering, construction and commissions stages of the project;
• Establish project risk registers and manage the same through structured HEMP processes;
• Monitoring of the HSSE performance of the project’s EPC Contractor and the application of their own HSSE MS / HSSE Plan requirements;
• Promoting and developing a strong safety culture oriented towards continuous improvement and in reinforcing HSSE leadership from key Company and Contractor staff;
• Ensure the company is complying with Omani, HSSE standards, regulations and laws;
• Ensure that all Environmental considerations and requirements are adopted and that the correct permits are in place for all project activities;
• Establish a culture of management leadership & commitment to HSSE and lead the HSSE improvement;
• Manage and lead the HSSE continuous improvement to ensure outstanding HSSE performance;
• Manage all HSSE interfaces between ABB, including internal and external stakeholders;

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Production Inspector with a strong background in plant operations, process monitoring, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production operations while inspecting and monitoring oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process control, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect oil and gas production operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize production systems through DCS and field instrumentation.
• Record and analyze production data, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, valves, separators, and storage facilities.
• Support start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures in line with operational guidelines.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance and control room teams for resolution.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and report near-misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
• Assist in training junior operators on DCS operations and production inspection procedures.
• Prepare daily reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation for internal and regulatory use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and operational reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas production, with at least 2 years in DCS/control room operations.
• Strong understanding of production processes, well operations, separation, and storage systems.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and regulatory compliance in oil & gas.
• Proficiency in DCS/SCADA systems, control loops, and instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in field/plant environments.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in process safety or oil & gas operations.
• Experience with multiple DCS platforms (Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, etc.).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and reliability systems.
