Early Years Physical Education Coach
The position is based in Muscat, Oman, and the coach will be responsible for developing and delivering a fun, fast-paced sports program for children aged 3 to 6, introducing fundamental motor skills across 8 different sports.
We expect you to be a highly motivated and successful practitioner who is willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the academy
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that introduces fundamental motor skills associated with 8 different sports.
- Develop lesson plans that enhance motor skills, coordination, balance, and overall physical development, tailored to the needs of children aged 3 to 6.
- Lead coaching sessions that are fun, dynamic, and maintain the attention of young children, adapting methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust the program to ensure its effectiveness, incorporating the latest trends and techniques in early childhood physical education.
- Understand and manage the temperaments and behaviors typical of this age group, demonstrating patience, empathy, and skill in handling their emotional and physical needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience coaching young children aged 3 to 6 in a multi-sport environment.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, Sports Coaching, degree is Sports Sciences/ psychology preferred. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fundamental motor skills and a variety of sports suitable for young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sessions fun, engaging, and tailored to different learning abilities.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of the developmental needs of young children.

ROLE SUMMARY:
We are very excited to be taking registration for our first recruitment event of the 2025/26 season. This event will be hosted by our online event partners - Teachaway. The event will be attended by a range of our premium British and IB curriculum schools located across the Europe and Middle East / North Africa region and will focus on vacancies for the 2026/27 academic year, starting in August 2026.
Taking place on Saturday 22nd November at 10am UK time, this will be your chance to hear from some of our schools as they individually talk about life as a member of staff at their school, culture of school, the city and region in which they are based and the typical vacancies / staff they are looking to recruit ahead of next year. You will also hear from some of our senior team about life at Inspired Education and the incredible career opportunities this brings. The event will last for around 2.5 hours in total and is scheduled to finish by 12.30pm UK time.
This is a great chance to network, understand more about our organisation and register your interest in our vacancies ahead of next year. All from the comfort of your own home.
We are looking for registrations to the event from teachers with a minimum of 2 years' experience and have previously worked specifically with the British or IB curriculums. We are keen to speak with teaching couples as well as solo applicants.
