Overview Of The Role:

• The Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting the IKEA store in providing high service levels to customers while optimizing stock levels at the lowest possible cost. The role involves implementing logistics procedures to ensure high efficiency in goods movement, assisting with commercial tasks on stock management, and upholding customer readiness standards. What You Will Do:
Operational

• Responsible for internal replenishment stock picks from buffer.
• Handle binning to buffer stock as requested from external warehouse to secure weekend requirements.
• Maintain vigilance during picking and binning to reduce discrepancies and stock loss.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed methods.

Commercial

• Assist in stocking and merchandising of incoming truck shipments to the sales floor.

To secure that the IKEA store has the highest possible service level to customers and optimise the stock levels at lowest possible cost, by making sure that all working methods described in IKEA Logistics manuals are implemented and that the IKEA store achieve a high efficiency in goods movement.

Responsibilities Required:

1. Ensure all items entering or leaving the warehouse are accurately checked with proper documentation.

2. Physically verify returned/damaged items and update the system accordingly.

3. Validate all delivery orders for accuracy before dispatch.

4. Monitor staff attendance and discipline, ensuring compliance with company policies.

6. Conduct end-of-day warehouse inspections and secure all areas before closing.
