Overview Of The Role
To secure that the IKEA store has the highest possible service level to customers and optimise the stock levels at lowest possible cost, by making sure that all working methods described in IKEA Logistics manuals are implemented and that the IKEA store achieve a high efficiency in goods movement.

What You Will Do
Operational

• To be responsible for stocks picks from buffer for internal replenishment as per the requirements from sales
• To be responsible for binning to buffer stock which is requested to secure for weekend from external warehouse
• To be very vigilant during picking and binning the stock to reduce the discrepancy and stock loss
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods

Commercial

• To assist in the stocking/merchandising of incoming truck shipment to the sales floor and remaining stocks back to buffer

Customers

• Make sure that all empty boxes are removed and the area is ready for customers before store opening

Financial

• Need to be reduce the internal handling damages to control the damage cost to achieve the store profit targets

Required Skills To Be Successful

• A valid forklift driving licence
• This is very physical job and requires that you can lift heavy loads on a daily and weekly basis so a strong physique is required
• Good written and verbal English

• 1-2 years retail experience, goods-flow/supply knowledge preferred

Position: Forklift Operator

We are looking for Omanis Forklift Drivers. Candidates should have a valid forklift operator license, proven experience operating forklifts and handling materials, a strong safety record, and job responsibility. The position also requires the ability to collaborate with a team, and adherence to safety procedures and regular equipment maintenance.

Basic Qualifications and Skills:

• Possess a valid forklift operating certificate or license.
• Able to read and write.
• Any other spoken language except Arabic is a plus.
• Proven experience operating various types of forklifts, including material handling.
• A strong safety record, the ability to handle potential hazards such as bulk loads, and adhere to safety procedures.
• Skills: Excellent driving skills, and the ability to accurately manage inventory such as prepare orders, inspect and count the material, deposit material in the correct place etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be punctual on his duty and follow the instructions.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
