One of the Largest Engineering & Construction Companies is hiring for multiple positions in the Oil & Gas Sector in Oman.
- Build overall plans for the execution phase of projects, provide plans and schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests, integrated maintenance plans
- Report on work activity progress and update schedules regularly
- Collaborate closely with the Company Engineering & Operations planning department for engineering, construction, and CSU planning
- Handle reporting, Primavera P6, and SAP daily service entries, and prepare bi-weekly/monthly reports
- Optimize resources and prioritize tasks in coordination with Project Engineers, Construction, and Maintenance Coordinators
- Provide early warnings for potential plan delays and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Assist Project Engineers with job preparation
- Offer cost and planning services to support engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up (CSU) activities
- Develop detailed activity plans for engineering, procurement, construction, and CSU activities in collaboration with project, design, and construction engineers
- Report to the Technical Service Manager and Construction Site Coordinator
- Integrated Activity Planner at Coastal reports to this position
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.)
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Project Management for O&G Facilities, proficiency in Primavera Planning Software (P6) and SAP for Oil and Gas projects
- Membership in an internationally recognized professional institute
Experience & Skills
- Proficiency in PC, data management, and planning software for Oil & Gas projects
- Experience in building logical precedence networks and optimizing project and maintenance planning
- Ability to create and update resource activity plans, manage change control, and report progress
- Strong general multi-discipline knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills

OverviewJob Description: Tivoli Muscat Hotel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Engineer to lead and manage all engineering operations during the pre-opening phase. The Chief Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth establishment of the hotel’s technical infrastructure, equipment, and systems, guaranteeing that all facilities are ready for operation on the opening day. The role will require hands-on management, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to facility maintenance and compliance.
Responsibilities Pre-Opening Engineering Operations- Oversee the setup, installation, and commissioning of all hotel systems and technical infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and building systems.
- Ensure that all engineering works are completed according to plan, within budget, and in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Lead the coordination of contractors and vendors for all engineering-related projects, ensuring timely completion and high standards of work.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems, ensuring that the hotel will be operationally ready for opening day.
- Recruit, train, and develop the engineering team, ensuring that they are fully equipped to manage the hotel’s operations from day one.
