We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with proven experience managing digital channel projects, specifically involving Backbase products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital banking platforms, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery of digital channel initiatives, including internet banking, mobile banking, and onboarding solutions using Backbase.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, designers, and technical teams to define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, and reporting to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and the Backbase vendor team.
- Ensure alignment with customer experience goals, technical architecture, and security standards.
- Monitor and report on project progress, resolving issues and escalating where necessary.
- Conduct project retrospectives and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Post-Handover Management- Manage all post-handover defects, including customer-reported exceptions, internal department exceptions, contractor defects during/after DLP, and latent defects.
- Lead defect resolution processes, ensuring timely action and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee procurement, monitoring, and delivery of post-handover contracts.
- Manage contractors and consultants to ensure project outcomes align with quality and customer expectations.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with standards and statutory approvals.

- Identify risks and opportunities throughout project lifecycles and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Support the growth and development of junior team members, enhancing local capabilities within the department.
- Proven experience in project management, post-handover processes, and defect management .

- Ability to manage contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred.
