We are seeking a motivated and qualified NRW Hydraulic & Data Analyst Engineer to join our dynamic team in Muscat. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical water network management projects, contribute to reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW), and support sustainable water resource management in Oman.
Responsibilities- Provide engineering input for hydraulic studies and network optimization.
- Perform detailed water balance calculations and analyze network performance (IWA methodology preferred).
- Monitor and evaluate water network parameters, including: pressure, TDF, MNF, flow rates, consumption patterns, losses/NRW, leak detection indicators, reservoir/tank levels, and valve/pressure operations.
- Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of NRW reduction strategies.
- Utilize Netbase (or similar software), Microsoft Excel, and Power BI (advantage) for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Collaborate with field teams to validate data, investigate abnormalities, and coordinate surveys/trial pits.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, clients, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Hydraulic, Water, or related Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in NRW projects, water loss management, and hydraulic analysis.
- Strong knowledge of water balance methodology.
- Proficiency in Excel; hands-on experience with Netbase or similar water management software; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work full-time in Muscat, Oman.

Work with business and technical teams to map legacy data structures to ERP data model.
Design and implement master data governance processes (customer, vendor, product, asset, finance, HR data, etc.).
Partner with ERP functional leads to ensure data supports business process design and reporting.
Act as the SME for data-related issues and decision-making throughout the program.
Support end users on data management best practices and ERP data standards.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the bridge between business users, ERP functional consultants, technical teams, and data governance groups, ensuring alignment on data requirements, standards, and priorities.
Business Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance, supply chain, HR, procurement, sales, and operations leaders to capture data requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure that data structures align with business process needs.
Data Ownership & Stewardship: Facilitate workshops to define data owners and data stewards within each functional area. Establish RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) for data-related tasks to avoid ambiguity.
Decision-Making Authority: Serve as the subject matter authority for data-related decision-making during design sessions, workshops, and steering committee meetings, ensuring data standards are not compromised for short-term process workarounds.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve data conflicts between business units (e.g., inconsistent vendor naming conventions, duplicate customer records, differing chart of accounts structures) to achieve a standardized data model.
Continuous Engagement: Establish regular touchpoints (steering committee updates, data quality dashboards, issue logs) to keep stakeholders informed about data readiness progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
External Partner Coordination: Collaborate with ERP vendors, system integrators, and data migration partners to ensure deliverables are aligned with business expectations and contractual requirements.
