As a General Technician, you’ll support the Maintenance team by performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring all facilities are safe, efficient, and guest-ready.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Carrying out repairs and routine maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
• Responding to guest and staff requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting in energy conservation efforts and hotel sustainability initiatives
• Logging work orders and maintaining equipment records
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and IHG brand standards

What do we need from you?

• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or building maintenance environment
• Knowledge in one or more areas: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or HVAC
• Basic understanding of safety practices and tools usage

Radio Technician

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Khasab. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication systems. This includes troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues, conducting routine inspections and tests, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a degree or certification in electronics or telecommunications, as well as strong knowledge of radio technology and equipment. Overview

Mechanical Technician will carry out maintenance, modification, overhauling and installation activities on the mechanical machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards to attain effective functionality and reliability.

• Carry out required daily mechanical maintenance work and routine preventative mechanical maintenance work according to set schedules and ACWA NOMAC procedures to facilitate continuous operations.
• Monitor the physical condition of all machines in assigned plant and report non-conformances to Mechanical Engineer / Supervisor to facilitate effective maintenance of all ACWA NOMAC facilities as per set Quality/ HSE standards.
• Respond to mechanical failures and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.
• Trouble shoot using necessary tools and spare parts which include diagnosis, repairing and checking equipment for corrosion, cracks, leaks, failures and perform necessary routine repairs to facilitate uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose causes of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as defective parts replacement, adjustment, alignment, oiling, greasing and boiling and take corrective measures in collaboration with Mechanical Engineer / Supervisor.
• Read and understand technical manuals, mechanical diagrams and machinery drawings and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, to prepare for the mechanical maintenance to machinery in the assigned area

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed

• Practical Knowledge of relevant plant equipment
• Practical knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles including but not limited to identification, classification, disposal of waste and emission monitoring
• Awareness of HSE & quality standards.
• Teamwork and effective collaboration skills

• A minimum of technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
• 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance as a technician in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and installations in a plant environment

The Fabrication Technician maintains packs and inventories prefabricated modular metal soft wall/hard wall structures, wooden, masonry and associated equipment. Performs sheet metal skin repairs to shelter equipment and fabricates repairs to components of shelter and utility systems. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

• Repairs, inspects, fabricates, cleans, operates, maintains, corrosion controls, and reconstitutes BEAR order of Battle (BOB) assets/equipment in accordance with Maintenance Action Sheets, Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklists, Regulations, Maintenance Action Sheets and Unit Type Code (UTC) Configuration listings.
• Performs inspections, maintenance and repairs on ferrous and non-ferrous metal prefabricated shelter structures to include the assembly and dismantling of shelters.
• Implements sheet metal repair schemes to container internal and external skins. Orders and fits replacement structural components.
• Performs repair tasks including the fabrication of patches, minor panel beating and filing the replacement of riveted nuts, cam locks and hi-loc rivets and nut plates.
• Prepares and completes documentation including Word Orders, USAF Supply and Amentum forms and updates Maximo.
• Prepares assets/equipment for air/sea/road haul shipments IAW Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklist, Regulations, Maintenance Action Sheets and UTC Configuration listings.
• Performs servicing and/or maintenance of in-use assets as required.
• Repairs, inspects, cleans, operates and maintains contingency plumbing facilities such as Laundry, Kitchen, Latrines and Showers.
• Fabricates and repairs wooden storage and shipping containers and supports related trades in all aspects pertaining to sheet metal and carpentry requirements.
• May be required to assist in other departments when directed or requested to accomplish a specific task or project.
• Performs other skilled or unskilled jobs as directed by the Supervisor and/or as directed by Amentum/USAF tasking.
• Performs Temporary Duty (TDY) in the Area of Operations as required by USAF/Amentum tasking.
• Operates material handling equipment as required.

• Must have organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a beginner level.
• Must be able to read and understand technical data, measurements and engineering drawings for construction, repair of portable building facilities and operating instructions pertaining to Civil Engineering and BOB assets and related equipment or similar Department of Defense Agencies.
• Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
• Will be required to operate material handling equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
• Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
