We are looking for an Electrical Engineer / PCB Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) for semiconductor systems, including Lidar, photonics, and mixed-signal IC evaluation platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in schematic capture, layout, and board bring-up for both analog and high-speed digital designs.
Key Responsibilities PCB Design & Development
Design multi-layer PCBs (2–6 layers or more) for evaluation boards, reference designs, and system integration.
Create schematics, place components, and perform detailed layout using Altium, Cadence, or equivalent tools.
Optimize layout for signal integrity, power delivery, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
Bring-Up & Validation
Support board bring-up, debugging, and lab testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other bench equipment.
Validate signal integrity and power delivery with simulation and measurement tools.
Collaborate with IC, systems, and firmware teams to ensure design compatibility and functional coverage.
Documentation & Production
Generate BOMs, Gerber files, manufacturing documentation, and assembly notes.
Work with vendors to coordinate PCB fabrication and assembly.
Support design revisions through product lifecycle.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
4+ years of experience in PCB design and system-level hardware development.
Proficient with PCB tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD).
Solid understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design principles.
Experience designing boards for high-speed signals, power management, or sensor interfaces is a plus.
Strong lab skills for board bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Be sure to include the position applying for, your resume, experience, education, and interest in your email.
