The Opportunity:

  • Drive increased revenue and faster sales cycle through the design and implementation of Commercial business systems-based workflows and business processes (HubSpot, Salesforce, Conga, Tableau, etc.)
  • Direct the process and flow of information for account planning, forecasting, client management/initiatives, list management, lead tracking, client reporting, internal reporting, and general Commercial support
  • Lead, design, and build projects to further develop Commercial business systems
  • Own and manage day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of all Commercial business systems
  • Develop and maintain Commercial business system reports, dashboards, and other tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Support the needs of Commercial team members and leaders by providing analytical insights and operational improvements
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to various commercial operations, such as sales performance, customer contracts, and pricing
  • Manage complex deal review processes, inclusive of standard and non-standard contract triggers that drive varying market and customer requirements; Run continual analysis of deal review commitments and effectiveness and report those observations to Commercial leadership for consideration in strategic business decisions
  • Distill global insights into business recommendations by identifying meaningful indicators and trends
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in commercial operations, proposing and implementing changes to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Train Commercial business system end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure high adoption and effective use of business system capabilities across the Commercial team

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Operations Business Systems Analyst role and a track record of successful application of diverse analytical approaches
  • 5+ years’ expert experience owning, administering, and managing Commercial business systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Conga, Tableau, etc.); demonstrated deep understanding of Salesforce.com/Business Objects features, functionality, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of GTM systems and B2B sales cycles, including CPQ and pipeline/lead management
  • Ability to find a story in a data set and provide a coherent narrative about a key data insight; Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Implement efficient resource allocation of Commercial Operation resources strategies, and quota planning to support commercial growth.
  • Drive deal desk reviews with the support of the different regional and global functions.
  • Ensure effective deployment and compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) policies and commercial risk controls.
  • Build and scale commercial capabilities through training, process standardization, and digital enablement.
  • Partner with global and regional sales, finance, legal, tax and insurance teams to align on best practices and drive deals.
  • Influence internal stakeholders to drive adoption of policies, commercial best practices and change initiatives.
  • Manage a regional team of commercial professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial operations, sales enablement, sales strategy, or related roles
  • Experience working in global or regional commercial operations roles within a multinational corporation, ideally in the Power, Energy, or Industrial Automation sectors
  • Proven track record in managing sales force effectiveness, back-office operations, and commercial process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse, cross-functional teams across geographies.
  • Strong experience in driving operational excellence and resource optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making and performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret complex commercial and market data to inform strategy and process optimization

Role Purpose

As MEA Fintech Commercial Operations Director, you will play a key role in driving Beyond ONE's strategic fintech vision across the Middle East and Africa. You'll solve complex challenges around market entry, financial inclusion, and digital payment innovation. Your contributions will help shape our regional fintech strategy, cross-functional operations, and ultimately the way we disrupt the market with scalable, customer-centric digital financial services. You will also be responsible for defining market-specific strategies to differentiate our offerings across segments and geographies, ensuring alignment between brand positioning and customer needs.

In your first year, you will lead the successful launch and operations of fintech ventures across existing operations in Oman and Saudi Arabia, grow MEA fintech revenue by executing on new commercial partnerships, and integrate fintech offerings into newly acquired businesses while aligning with local compliance requirements. You will deliver compelling go-to-market plans, optimize the digital customer journey, and elevate customer experience standards across all digital and physical touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the MEA fintech commercial strategy and P&L, ensuring profitable growth across multiple markets.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, tech, compliance, and sales teams to drive seamless go-to-market fintech execution.
  • Manage regulatory, compliance, and licensing processes to ensure operational continuity across regions.
  • Drive new fintech ventures, including lead the launch of new ventures and multi-brand Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) models.

Education:
