The Contracts & Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the FM operations within the Oman Cultural Complex project. During the pre-operational phase, the focus will be on establishing commercial frameworks, supporting the procurement of service packages, and preparing financial systems for operational readiness. This role is critical in ensuring value-for-money service delivery, risk management, and contractual compliance. The manager will also be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and administering key agreements, supporting cost planning, and reporting to the Facilities Management Director.
Duties & Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Pre-Operational (Mobilization Phase):
- Support the development of contract templates and procurement documentation for FM, cleaning, security, waste, pest control, landscaping, etc.
- Prepare commercial evaluation criteria, cost benchmarking data, and financial scoring templates for incoming bids.
- Assist in the drafting of operational budgets, preliminary cash flow plans, and pre-opening cost estimations.
- Lead pre-contract negotiations and coordinate alignment of terms with legal, technical, and finance stakeholders.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area. Each day, you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Marketing and Sales function.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area. Main stakeholders are regional division and country leaders.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area.
- Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model).
- Overseeing the assigned teams that identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
- Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
- Min. 10 years of experience in marketing & sales.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of electrification products & solutions.
- Degree in Electrical engineering with proven industry experience.
- You are at ease communicating in English & Arabic.
