Responsibilities

General

• Keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Processes will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with the brand's wellness and sustainability practices.

• Ensuring in cooperation with the HR/training department (if available) that all hosts in the spa/resort are aware of the wellness offers (all wellness projects) and can communicate the offers to guests, using available training material, "Cheat sheets" and if necessary creating own materials.
• Together with the Wellness Director and HR coordinate wellness initiatives in the front and back of the house.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the resort and work together with the HR/training department (if available) to fill them.
• To assist in providing departmental orientation to newly recruited staff.
• To assist with the training with Spa Reception on treatment sequencing for best results of packages and treatment combinations.
• To conduct complimentary activities for hosts.
• To assist the resort reservations team in actively promoting spa & wellness programs and encourage leads to be passed to enable conversions.
• Attend regular wellness webinars organized by the corporate.
