An exciting opportunity has arisen working with a leading conference and exhibition organising company in Oman-Muscat for the position of General Manager – Advertising Agency .
Job DescriptionAgency Sales and Business Development
- Lead agency pitches to prospective clients and grow agency top-line revenue.
- Create strategic proposals to promote services.
- Manage client relationships effectively.
- Identify marketing opportunities and participate in tenders to attract high-value agency projects.
- Oversee all communication elements of advertising and marketing, including creative, copy, layouts, and production.
- Manage service providers, suppliers, and onsite requirements.
- Run day-to-day operations of a full-service integrated ad agency, supervise team output, and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate the overall budget process, develop annual budget plans, and ensure profitability and monthly targets are met.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand image and increase exposure to corporate and government sectors.
- Train and develop the team to stay updated with advertising trends, improve proposal quality, and evaluate employee performance.
- Oversee job cards, daily worksheets, creative content, website development, and conceptualization.
- Approve all creative materials for events and external clients.
- Implement ideas to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Language Proficiency: Fluent/Excellent in Arabic and English.
Ownership: Own a car and have a driving license.
Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum of 4 years managing a profitable, commercially driven advertising and marketing agency with experience in lead generation, collateral development, brand building, and online advertising.
- Ability to lead a team to meet tight deadlines with high-quality work.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
