Position OverviewLycopodium is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervisor, Earthworks, to join our growing project team in Oman. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and professional delivery of project deliverables in accordance with company, client, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize the productivity and efficiency of the Earthworks construction teams through planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deliverables.
- Manage the quality of output from the Earthworks teams, ensuring high accuracy and compliance with project, client, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor contractors' progress and schedules, reporting immediately on issues affecting project goals.
- Maintain professional dealings with clients, vendors, and external stakeholders, aligning with company ethos.
- Communicate regularly with the Construction Superintendent, providing weekly reports and updates on construction progress.
- Adhere to safety and health instructions to ensure personal and team safety, conducting regular site inspections.
- Ensure compliance of the Earthworks team with company and client policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Technical certificate, higher education qualification, diploma, or equivalent experience in construction management (desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in civil/earthworks, preferably in mineral processing or related industries on international projects.
- Experience with EPC/EPCM or client/owner roles is desirable.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with knowledge of HSE policies and procedures.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.

The expertise you'll bring
- Technical certificate / higher education qualification, diploma or diploma in construction management (desirable) or equivalent experience in the industry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisor role (civil/earthworks works) in mineral processing and/or related industries in international projects. Ideally site based.
- Experience in EPC/EPCM/Client/Owner is desirable
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and sound knowledge of HSE policy and procedures.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Site Project Engineer to join our growing project team in Oman.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your roster will be an 8 week on / 2 weeks off flying economy class flights from anywhere globally to our site in Yanqul, Oman.
The tasks you'll perform
- Support the Project Manager to ensure the quality of output of the allocated project team, and that it is aligned with the needs of project / study, the company objectives, the requirements of the client and meets regulatory requirements.
- Deliver support and technical competence, as part of the project team, in the delivery of the projects and studies to meet the requirements of the Clients and their projects in accordance with the contract.
- Follow the various (project specific and company) procedures, work practices, plans and protocols required to work efficiently and maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
The expertise you'll bring
- A degree and/or Post-Graduate qualification in Engineering, preference for Mechanical will be given.
- 8+ years post graduate experience in the minerals processing sector with experience operating in remote sites.
- Proven experience in EPC and EPCM environments.
- Highly developed people and relationship skills with demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplined professional team environment communicating and motivating effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrate understanding and awareness of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Site Project Controller to join our project team in Oman. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Controller / Planner is responsible for the accurate, effective, and timely control of Project costs and accounting functions to produce deliverables in line with Client’s and Project’s standards.
The tasks you'll perform- Ensure all the budgets, forecasts, and cost commitments are produced efficiently to a high standard in line with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.
- Support team members with re-forecasting and estimating activities to complete project cost forecasts (trending).
- Create, implement, and maintain the Project Schedule.
- Manage and coordinate inputs from various team members including engineering, procurement, contracts, project, and construction in order to establish a highly accurate and detailed Project Schedule.
- Assist with the conversion of project estimate to capital control budget.
- Monitor Project performance including costs, progress against schedule, and internal reviews to provide a transparent assessment of critical project performances.
- Evaluate project progress to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline objectives. Recognise progress concerns and report immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Coordinate inputs from various team members including engineering, procurement, contracts, project, and construction in order to establish detailed cost, man-hour controls, and schedule.
- Assist with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Project Control Procedures and Processes, in particular cost control.
- 8+ years of experience in project supply chain management in a related industry (i.e. mining and minerals, process & energy, EPC/EPCM, or heavy industry).
- A strong background in scheduling, planning, and cost control for construction projects.
- Previous project controls experience within an EPCM company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable).
