Responsible for smooth operation of all crusher section right from crusher hoppers up to the reclaimers, sampling stations and including Shredder and AFR materials .

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Core Area:

• Responsible for smooth operation of all crusher section right from crusher hoppers up to the reclaimers, sampling stations and including Shredder and AFR materials .
• Manager arrangement of the sufficient raw materials such as L/stone, iron ore, QPH in yard
• Monitoring and managing filling of Iron ore, QPH and Bauxite hoppers at the raw mills
• Production performance records of the crusher with a view to assess its efficiency parameters such as Kwh/ton, material ground including daily production reports.
• Plan the procurement of important consumables and spare parts for crusher with the help of maintenance and purchase department;
• Maintain the production log sheet and report any abnormal activity and write the respective shift report.
• Manage and supervise the transport contractor for the raw materials.
• Prepare frequency break down monthly report and all other reports as advised by Section head and sampling station breakdown report;
• Raise the work requests for crusher sections
• Over all supervision of entire crusher to work the monthly shift schedule of people working in area and ensure proper coordination between other sections.
• Coordinate with the raw mills engineer for providing raw materials ;
• Manage the attendance of the Contract labour for the shifts and submit report thereof to Head Section
• Verification of raw materials quantities everyday with the help of Production Information Technician.
• Make sure that the daily checklist is prepared by the Foreman and operator.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned to him by the superiors from time to time.

Planning, Budgeting, Logistic

• Responsible for carrying out the schedules for the spare parts for crusher in coordination Production Engineer .
• Plan the procurement of important consumables and spare parts for crusher.
• Arrange the procurement of the crusher,
• Assist head section in preparation of the contract drafts of the concerned area,
• Follow up with purchase department / suppliers with regard to the supply of consumable items

Tools:

• Arrange and ensure the fitness and availability of the tools and the equipment’s involved for the work for the crusher and maintenance of the tools and equipment’s.
• Using SAP and make sure that the subordinates are utilizing the SAP.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors’ degree in chemical/process engineering graduate from well reputed organization ( degree in engineering and mining may be considered)
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in cement plant preferably in the area of crusher. Experience with the modern cement production technology with more focus in crusher.
