Full Job Description
Our client is a leading global FMCG company in the food &
beverages category, responsible for sales and marketing their own
branded products in all channels across the MENA & Levant
regions.
Due to aggressive growth in the region they are now
looking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager to develop winning
strategies at point of purchase across channels and regions via
effective trade spend management.
Key Accountabilities will
include:
• Design and deliver all local trade activities to enhance
business
• Work in close coordination with Marketing to localize
central activities with specific requirements for Oman
• Work in
close coordination with General & Modern Trade managers to enable
channel specific planning and trade spending with maximum ROI
•
Work with the aid of sales development to produce locally relevant POS
material to enable effective in-store communication
• Work with
Market Manager, NSM, Modern & General Trade Managers to design and
monitor the route to market strategy with trade marketing support
plans by channel to enable the strategy elements
• Analyze customer
specific sales data to gain insights into customer performance
•
Work closely with top customer sales team & modern trade manager to
design customer specific plans based on the customer insights
•
Release customer insight updates based on monthly AC Nielsen retail
audit
• Work closely with Market Manager on trade spend planning
and tracking
• Plan and evaluate all trade marketing activities to
deliver maximum ROI
• Allocate trade marketing budget to provide
effective tactical support to sales teams throughout the year
•
Keep abreast of latest customer and market trends
• Work with
regional supervisors to provide customer education to sales teams
•
Design & update regular retail shelf planograms as per local
needs
• Develop brand plans in line with overall activity calendar
to support requirements
• Design trad
• University degree
in Business administration or respective studies
• 3 to 5 years
Trade Marketing experience in an FMCG MNC
• Track record in
developing & executing category strategy
• Experience in Managing
trade budgets
• Strong analytical thinking
• Team player &
demonstrate leadership
• Strong written and oral communication
skills and presentation skills
• Skilled in Word, Excel and Power
Point
• Well-structured, focused & setting clear priorities
•
Ability to think strategically and creatively
