Lecturer/AssistantProfessor in Aviation and Airport ManagementWeare seeking a highly qualified and motivated full-time faculty member to teachaviation and airport management courses in the Transportation, Logistics, andSafety Management section in the Department of Business and Economics at ModernCollege of Business and Science. The ideal candidate must possess a Ph.D. (forAssistant Professor) or Master s (for Lecturer) in Aviation Management/AirportManagement or a related field from a recognized university. The faculty memberwill be responsible for teaching a range of courses to a bachelor's levelstudent in the field of aviation and airport management.Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures,developing course syllabi, designing assessments and evaluations, guiding capstoneprojects, and providing academic advising and support to students. They willalso engage in scholarly activities, including research writing, conferenceparticipation and presentations, and participate in college and departmentalservice activities.Qualificationsand Skills:ForAssistant Professor-Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Aviation Management/AirportManagement or a closely related field with a minimum of three years of teachingexperience.ForLecturer-Masters in Aviation Management/Airport Management or a related fieldfrom a recognized university with a minimum of three years of teachingexperience.Industryexperience is preferred.Demonstratedability to design and implement effective instructional strategies that promotestudent learning.Strongoral and written communication skills.Acommitment to high-quality teaching, scholarly activity, and service to thecollege and community.Coursesto Teach:Thefaculty must have the ability to teach from the following core courses ofaviation management:AviationManagement; Airport Management; Airline Management; Airport Planning and Design;Air Operations Management; Air Traffic Management; Aviation Safety; AviationLaws; Air Cargo; Accident Prevention and Causation; Meteorology; AirportAdministration and Finance
