An energy specialist is responsible for overseeing the environmental review and compliance for complex energy sector projects . Your job duties include overseeing the process of obtaining permits, preparing environmental documents, and performing long-range planning for future energy projects.

You maintain records and data, promote programs that encourage efficiency and renewable energy, initiate changes to improve current use, and assist with the planning of new construction projects. Your duties have you handling administrative and financial work as well.
