Country Manager (Building Materials/Manufacturing)

Full Job Description

An adaptable, enthusiastic, and well-rounded manager is required to manage and rejuvenate the Oman Branch business, as well as taking on responsibility for P&L and administrative overview across Oman business.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial P&L responsibility for the company
• Legal representation
• HR – with dotted line to central Dubai HR
• Supply chain - with dotted line to central Dubai Supply Chain
• Accounting and Finance - dotted line to central Finance/Accounting
• Credit Control - dotted line to central Finance/Accounting
• Health and Safety - dotted line to central HSE
• Meeting central reporting requirements

Key Tasks
• Creating and implementing new business plan, including
• Growing sales
• Introducing new product ranges
• Negotiating new agency contracts
• Gaining approvals and specifications
• Relocating warehouse
• Opening new retail stores as appropriate
• Motivating and coaching the staff – providing leadership
• Setting and achieving yearly budget

• Senior management budgeting and planning involvement
• Commercially Astute
• Excellent Leadership skills
• 7-10 years experience in similar field
• GCC market knowledge is essential
• Minimum of 3years Building Materials experience,
• Previous sales management experience
• Technical Specifications experience
• Minimum of 4 years leadership experience.
• Bachelors Degree
• Sales Training

Salary 3,500 - 4,000 OMR + family benefits
