Job Purpose:
The HSSE specialist is accountable for the implementation and execution of branch-level compliance, risk analysis, continuous improvement projects, and managing incident investigations and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Regularly inspect branches to identify unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with safe working procedures and standards by reporting any non-compliance incidents.
- Plan the emergency training program, conduct mock evacuation tests, establish muster points in all branches in collaboration with the Facilities department, and oversee its implementation to ensure employees are aware of response actions during an emergency.
- Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents occurring in company locations, examining incident sites, questioning victims and witnesses, identifying possible causes, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to understand the incident details.
- Promote environmental awareness among all employees and visitors to ensure they are well-informed about relevant standards while on company premises.
- Monitor and update the HSSE risks register and ensure all mitigation plans are strictly followed.
- Review and oversee the development of relevant environmental, health, safety, security, and fire and rescue system documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with government representatives (MECA) regarding measurements of harmful agents at the workplace, ergonomic assessments in offices, examinations, and audits of health.
- Investigate and evaluate the appropriateness of all safety equipment.
- Respond to and assist in all emergency situations.
- Perform any other activities as required by the reporting manager.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained daily, weekly, and monthly as required by management.
Education & Qualifications Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering.
Professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems (NEBOSH or IOSH).
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in large organizations (such as Oil & Gas, Logistics, or Construction) is required for bachelor’s degree holders, while diploma holders must have at least 6 years of relevant experience.

The service holder is part of the H3SE team which focuses on the management of health, safety, and security aspects of the Project. Missions of the service holder are to:
- Interface with EPSCC contractors, TotalEnergies EP Oman, Sohar Industrial Port Company (SIPC), Solar plant project, partners, relevant Omani Authorities, and COMPANY’s H3SE team on-site.
- Ensure key health, safety and security risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated to as low as reasonably practicable level. The job holder will document the assessment process, monitor, and liaise with EPSCC Contractors to implement prevention and/or mitigation measures. He/she supervises continuity and cascading of H3SE risk assessment during the construction of Marsa LNG project.
- Ensure that EPSCC Contractors establish documented health, safety, and security management system with clear objectives, targets and relevant procedures for the construction of Marsa LNG project. He/she will establish H3SE monitoring and reporting system to consolidate and report the overall H3SE performance.
- Elaborate Company HSE-MS and associated procedures/plans as highlighted in Marsa LNG HSE Management Plan with due consideration for the need for bridging plans (being either with EPSCC Contractors HSE-MS or TotalEnergies Service Oman affiliate HSE-MS) and for the SIMOPS.
- Ensure that EPSCC Contractors establish emergency response plans, including medevac and security plan, aligned with COMPANY’s emergency response plan, and ensuring EPSCC Contractor to perform emergency trainings, drills, and exercises regularly.
- Actively contribute to deliver Marsa LNG project on schedule and budget and meet the H3SE targets and objectives.
- Well experienced in establishing of Health, Safety and Security management system and procedures (HSS MP) in line with COMPANY’s HSE MS expectations. Experience in monitoring and reporting for health, safety, and security key performance indicators.
- Hands-on experience in coordinating and execution of H3SE Audits and Inspections and monitoring the close-out of findings.
- Experience in coordinating safety culture campaign and follow up with EPSCC Contractors.

Lead the Cash & Risk Management activities & team at OQ Corporate, under Head of Corporate finance, DCM and IR, acting as single point of accountability and lead role for the end-to-end process related to overseeing and optimizing daily cash operations, managing liquidity, and supporting strategic treasury initiatives, responsible of (1) Cash flow forecasting, (2) Treasury system enhancements, (3) Risk Management and banking relationships, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient cash operations and compliance with financial controls.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Cash & Risk Management
- Lead a team to prepare daily cash positioning, cash concentration, and liquidity monitoring across global bank accounts.
- Lead negotiations with banks to place liquidity in Calls, TDs, Money Market funds and other instruments and execute them to achieve better than benchmark returns.
- Lead the team that Oversee electronic payment processing (wires, ACH, EFTs), ensuring accuracy, approval compliance, and timely execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, providing insights and variance analysis.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the use and enhancement of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), supporting system upgrades, automation initiatives, and reporting tools.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, SOX requirements, and audit standards for cash operations.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance treasury efficiency, visibility, and control.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and tax teams on treasury-related matters, including month-end close activities and audit support.
- Support on Risk management activities, including calculating Mark to Market positions and developing hedging strategies and executing them.
